It all started with our love for travelling to South Korea.

Of course, K-pop was one of the reasons we first visited, but every trip soon became about so much more than concerts and cafés.

We found ourselves wandering through Seoul's hidden streets, discovering independent shops, local brands and creative spaces that completely stole our hearts. Along the way, we became inspired by Korea's incredible culture of customisation. The idea that everyday items could become personal, meaningful and uniquely yours.

What fascinated us most was how creativity became part of everyday life. Personalising something wasn't just about decoration; it was a way to express your personality, celebrate your interests and create lasting memories.

Every trip ended with the same thought: we wished there was somewhere like this back home.

Then life brought us to Manchester.

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the city's creativity, diversity and strong independent spirit. Surrounded by independent businesses, artists and makers who weren't afraid to do things differently, it felt like the perfect place to build something inspired by the customisation culture we'd fallen in love with.

And that's how Labö Made was born.

Our goal has never been just to sell patches.

We wanted to create an experience where people could slow down, get creative, and make something that truly felt like their own.
